Howdy. I just wanted to drop a quick note to remind everyone of the Grand Ave. Festival happening this weekend. My business partner, Jasmine, worked really hard on the Fashion Shows part of the festival, and from what I hear it should be a great success. Plus...it's FREE! Local Boutiques Fashion Show @ The Grand Avenue Festival

Hi lovlies. We just wanted to remind our fans of our upcoming fashion show this  Saturday @ Bragg's Pie Factory for the Grand Avenue Festival. We are really excited to be a part of this event celebrating recycling and adaptive-reuse. This is the first annual festival of hopefully many more to come, and we are grateful to part of the community behind it. We want to send out a special thanks to everyone who helped make this festival and our fashion show happen- we could not belong to a better community of hard working creative folks. Bird Nest Hair Fashion

I am recently becoming obsessed with birds in fashion. Bird nests, bird cages, bird prints, bird silhouettes...you name it. I came across these images that I thought were so amazing I wanted to share them. I'm thinking we definitely we need to incorporate a bird nest hairstyle in the upcoming fashion show. I've also been collecting some great images of antique bird cages...you can look for a blog about those soon :]

We are drawing inspiration from these vintage Goldie Hawn photos for a look we are creating for our next fashion show. The theme is war & peace on earth. We're thinking a large painted earth on our model's back along with other peace & recycling icons painted elsewhere. Plus the perfect mod bikini designed by us! Oh how excited we are...
