So, I'm a little late to post this look, but since I got a chance to snap a few photos, I figure, eh, why not? I wore this look last Friday (but have since been too busy to blog). The vintage blouse and shorts were both altered from their original state for a fresh look. We removed the sleeves from the blouse to highlight the pretty embroidered neckline, (the open/loose arm holes make wearing a black blouse in Phoenix actually bearable). We also hemmed up the shorts about 6" to summer-them-up a bit. Overall, this look is a bit dark for summer, but I was aching to wear those shorts, I couldn't help myself!!

It's going to be a lot of fun to transition these pieces into my autumn wardrobe. But since it's only July 7th, I suppose I should embrace summer a while longer.
