Butter Toast's Favorite Vintage Star: Zooey Deschanel

So, I know that I am a heterosexual female, who is absolutely in love with her boyfriend--BUT, I must say, I swoon over every photo, article, ect. that Zooey Deschanel graces. Not to mention, I CANNOT stop listening to her new album with M. Ward (She & Him, Volume One). Her tracks are all reminiscent of past eras, as well as her impeccable style. Zooey is our favorite vintage star of the moment. She is uber CUTE, and we can't get enough of her.

  1. Zooey Deschanel is great. I love her bemused deadpan style. She has great comic timing and has been in some wonderful films.

  5. Yay! she makes me smile. Just saw her in a random indie flick called "Gigantic" it was such an awesome random find for me, and yes, her style is enviable at best. I have yet to listen to her album, but i know the girl can sing

  6. I think she's a star attraction that doesn't fall flat. I dream of acting in a scene with her, feeling what I see her able to create in finished films.

  9. It's great to find others that adore this girl. I saw her sci-fi/fantasy TV movie "Tinman" on the SciFi (SyFy, now) channel and thought she was very cool. Then saw her again in an episode of her sister Emily's show "Bones". It was awesome to see them on-screen together. And the character she played - Brennan's cousin who had a Ben Franklin quotation for everything - was hilarious.
